Originally launched under the name Bing Chat Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot is a powerful tool. This session builds upon the knowledge gained in our course Foundation of Copilot and Microsoft 365 and is great for those who already have a basic knowledge of Copilot and want to delve deeper into the functionalities and effective use of Microsoft Copilot.
Description
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Summarise, analyse and explain content using Microsoft Copilot.
- Create images and generate content for documents and presentations.
- Develop effective prompts to maximize the utility of Microsoft Copilot.
- Understand and avoid common AI mistakes.
- Handle sensitive information securely.
- Verify information sources for accuracy and reliability.
This session will also delve into the art of crafting effective prompts, exploring how to use questions and images to instruct Microsoft Copilot accurately. We will address how to avoid common AI mistakes, securely handle sensitive information, and verify information sources for accuracy.
The session is designed to incorporate examples of Copilot use specific to the organisation; hence, information on common tasks will be needed to tailor the workshop.
If such information is unavailable, the session will utilise generic business tasks such as writing presentations, taking meeting minutes, and researching prospective customers or competitors.

Delegates attending this session need access to a web browser and an EntraID (Microsoft 365) account.
