Create Visualisations using Microsoft Excel Power BI Desktop

Description

This training course is a practical guide to using the Desktop Power BI app to manipulate large data sets using DAX formulas, measures and calculated columns in Power Query. 
 
Once data is in the correct format we will create Relationships to join tables from different sources and use this data to create interactive visualisations which may be published to the web and shared with colleagues.

Prerequisites

Delegates MUST have completed our Excel Levels 1 - 4 courses or provide evidence that they are already competent to this level to book onto this course. The earlier courses provide foundations for the techniques we teach on this training event. 

We provide step by step guidance to create complex DAX formulas and Measures and all delegates should be confident about their Excel skills before joining this class. 

Delegates will be asked to sign in to Microsoft's Excel Desktop BI app so you will have to know your Windows login details.
